8/31/19 Wedding at Thompson Hotel

On 8/31/19 Tiffany and Emanuel were wed in a wonderful ceremony filled with music, humor and love at the Thompson Hotel in the Gulch.  The prelude started off with gospel music played by Tiffany’s brother-in-law, Kevin Blanton, on keyboard.  Shortly before the processionals were to start he turned the music over to the trio so he could take his place as a groomsman.  The mothers were seated to Handel’s “He Shall Feed His Flock”, the bridesmaids entered to “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” and the bridal entrance was to Bach’s “Air” from the Suite in D.

There were several officiants including Tiffany’s father who lovingly and with humor led the couple through their vows and ring exchange.  After the pronouncement of marriage we, along with Kevin, played “The Lord’s Prayer” while the newlyweds assembled a Unity Cross and then took Communion with their attendants.  When “The Lord’s Prayer” was finished we continued with “In Christ Alone” during Communion and was once again joined by Kevin who was able to just play the song off the top of his head totally impromptu.  It was great.

It was such an honor to be a part of Tiffany and Emanuel’s wedding and we heartily congratulate them and their families!
